I have been promising this for a very long time, but finally the implementation of the services for the paying subscribers.
If you subscribed to the site recently or you were not aware about the plan about the paid site services, do not worry. Accessing the current site services will continue to be free as before.

Hello,
I am continuing to work on tools to develop the upcoming package of paid services for the users that are interested in the new planned services, so there are only a few new things in the PHP Classes site to talk about.
* Package screenshots thumbnails
One of the things that was added is a thumbnail of a screenshot image of a package, at the left of the screenshots listing, if there are any.

Hello,
After being hosted in shared servers for almost 6 years, the PHP Classes site is finally going to be migrated to a new dedicated server.
Over the years the site has been optimized to minimize the use of the server resources by the using extensive content caching methods to avoid database accesses and background job queuing to give priority to Web page serving.

It has been a while since I sent an editorial newsletter like this to the PHP Classes site subscribers.
This year has been intense in terms of the development of new features, the increase in new subscribers, the increase in submitted classes, and consequently, the increase in traffic that the site had, and in the cost to maintain it.
